Winter Rain Surprise
Morning rain
left droplets by the scores
hanging from branches
across today’s countryside.
The sun
peeks through cloudy skies
transforming water
into iridescent fairy lights
and tiny glass ornaments
to decorate all outdoors
for the holidays.
